Since the company was founded, its founder, Antonio Medina Lama, wanted to create a modern strawberry nursery that could generate and offer the best production solutions for the strawberry sector. He therefore created and strengthened a technical R+D team that could continually apply the most innovative agronomy techniques to develop new varieties and types of strawberry plants.

This technical department works closely with several research centres and groups throughout the world and our farmers to identify new areas of improvement and crop development.

As a result of this effort, Viveros California has received recognition from several institutions as well as its farmers.

Our intention for our farmers is to help them and work more closely together with them on our common goal: producing the best strawberries on the market, when the market demands them.
